This last week Cheryl and her team moved my wife into a new care facility in Langley. The move required bringing some things from our family home as well as all the items and clothing my wife had in her current care home. Moving times had to be coordinated with both care homes within a narrow window. Cheryl coordinated everything perfectly and the move to the new facility was flawless. She and her team did all of the packing, unpacking, organizing of clothing, bathroom supplies and they hung all the pictures on the wall as well. We were fortunate to find out about Next Chapter Senior Services earlier this year when we became executors of a friend’s estate. Having to deal with a very cluttered home that was a 45 minutes drive away convinced us that we needed help with this project.
They started by decluttering and then proceeded to find a home for all of the contents of our friend’s house. They managed the distribution of the donated items and then supervised the online auction. They staged the house for sale, they packaged and mailed items that were destined for back east and they set aside, for our inspection, things that were of potential value. By the time the sale of the house was completed, it had been emptied and cleaned, ready for the new owners.
Throughout this whole process, these ladies were upbeat, professional, resourceful, organized, and very respectful of our friend’s possessions. No task was ever too much for them, no question was ever left unanswered and no phone call was ever not returned even long after the completion of the project.
